More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

A lot: the outdoors, cooking, gardening, giving to others, family, dancing, theatre, entertaining, living life to it's fullest...

I typically spend my leisure time

I really enjoy being outdoors. This includes things like camping, mountain biking (even though I'm a beginner), hiking, star gazing, gardening, or things like visiting parks or other outdoor places. I also like indoor stuff like watching movies, playing board games, reading, hanging out with family and friends... oh, and I love cooking for fun and for other people.

The most influential person in my life has been

This is the hardest question. Probably communication. Someone who will tell me their feelings and share with me. Communication is the foundation to a lot of things and miscommunication is the source to most arguments. When someone can effectively communicate, they are happier, and the people around them are happier.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm a pretty open person. I'm not too afraid of sharing anything. I believe in being the person you truly are and letting that shine through. When people see that you have the confidence to be yourself, they are more willing to accept you. Everyone just wants to be themselves and be accepted as they are.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was called The Women of Brewster Place. I had to read it for school, but I did enjoy it. It is a book with multiple stories of different women who live in one building. Though I did not agree with many of their thoughts and ideas about life, I loved that it opened my mind up to the idea that there are grown people who have naive ideas about what life is about. And I did learn a little something from each character, even if it was only further insight into myself. I also enjoyed the way the author wrote.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The forgiveness of Jesus Christ
  2. My family
  3. My passion for life

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Sometimes, a lot of times, I can seem assertive and independent. Though there are times this is true, I love the feeling of being wanted and needed. Though I love to take care of others, I love to be taken care of too. I love to cuddle and am well mannered. This means that I'm pretty old fashioned and love when guys open doors and help put on your coat and little gestures like that. They mean so much and show that you really care.

A little more about me

I think that about sums it up. I'm sure I'll add more later as I remember things I forgot about. It's pretty hard to fit me, well anyone really, into a couple of boxes.
