The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about history. Facts fascinate me, odd as it sounds. I am an avid reader, and much prefer that to other 'couch potato' pursuits, although I can occasionally get addicted to the odd Fantasy RPG Video Game.I have maintained a love of camping since childhood, and value the ability to get away, to experience the peace of being outside of the world I usually inhabit.I have a passion for driving, although I am currently between cars, considering the next loud, fast, and expensive waste of money.
I typically spend my leisure time
Roller blading, wandering aimlessly (yes), and reading. As mentioned above, I do love wasting money and time on cars; and occasionally playing video games. I can enjoy a good movie, or music when walking. I am relatively addicted to Sudoku when commuting... need to play...
The most influential person in my life has been
I am seeking someone with a blend of intelligence and introspection that makes them an interesting conversationalist, able to be creative, discuss complex or philosophical topics, and to do so with passion, conviction, and interest.
The first thing people notice about me
The duality of the fact that I am generally quiet, and do not engage in typical chatter (i.e., the weather) with most people, but that when I do speak, my voice comes with a confidence and volume that are remarkably audible. I am self confident, but shy of conceited.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I just recently concluded with two horribly popular books, both of which I enjoyed (Harry Potter 7 and Angels and Demons) but I will chose the latter as it is more my typical fare. I prefer novels, and those that contain mystery, action, discovery, beyond simple human interaction. I believe that sums up as saying "I like guy books, not girl books".
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Time, for it is the medium in which we all exist.
- Human contact - for that is which we all strive.
- The ability to express this, and all desires.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I have much to say, though I am not always quick to open, or fast to speak. I find myself dominated in conversation by people who are free flowing conversationalists. I am contemplative, relaxed in conversation. It makes me an excellent written communicator, both in business and in my personal life. (But honestly, who reads letters anymore?)
Friends Describe me as
Good listener, Intelligent, Romantic, Thoughtful
A little more about me
Yes, but I suppose that is the whole point - you have to interact with people to find out everything, no?
