More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My passions run counter to the mainstream. My interests tend to be tied directly to the size of the crowd. As the crowd grows, my interest wanes. My passions run to the things that challenge us as individuals and while I enjoy competition, it is not the "win" that motivates me. The best things we can do are somehow shared afterwards. Activities that I enjoy include scuba diving, bicycling, cooking, darts, reading, bowling, botanical gardens, art museums, an excellent glass of wine, swimming, sailing, hiking, motorcycling, conversation with someone who had something to share, and so much more.

I typically spend my leisure time

This could be answered by saying,"see passions" or...My first choice would be getting together with friends or family to enjoy a common activity. That activity would depend totally on who I am with and their ability to enjoy. If I am alone, I may workout, hit the kitchen or grill to capture a great flavor, both with music in the background, enjoy a movie on tv, go for a ride (bicycle or motorcycle), or read the current novel on the coffee table.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

I don't know...I've never asked. BUT as a hypothetical question, I would guess "self confidence".

The last book I read and enjoyed

World Without End by Ken Follett. This is a follow-up to Pillars of the Earth. It is a dramatization of history, religion, politics, and architecture. What is most fascinating is authors ability to blend facts and fiction.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. All the people throughout my life that have helped me become who I am today
  2. Being a part of the ongoing growth to maturity and happiness of my children
  3. Having the ability to recognize just how good life is, how to enjoy the little things, and the physical and emotional energy to look for more

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Why would I ask this question?

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Good listener, Hard Working, Intelligent

A little more about me

Absolutely. And when you figure it out, let me know...
