More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love doing fun stuff - doesn't really matter what it is, but a few favorites right now are: HIKING & BACKPACKING- just did a sunrise hike up halfdomeRUNNING - well, probably more like joggingSCUBA DIVING - got certified last year, but need to get out and do this moreABALONE DIVING - not too good at this yet, but I'm working on itGOLF - I'm terrible, but it sure is funI've loved playing games since I was 3 (I might just be a little competitive). I really love teaching. I'll probably be teaching something, somewhere, for the rest of my life.

I typically spend my leisure time

Already sort of answered this one before, but apparently you're not supposed to be passionate about your leisure time on eharmony. But here's a few more:When I can get away, I love travelling. Got to spend 3 summers in Italy, toured Canada and Alaska, and have been to Australia and New Zealand. Still need to visit my friend in Hong Kong and my cousin in Prague, but will probably have to settle for trips to the east coast to visit my nephews for a year or two.Used to be a classical musician, so I still like to check out the SF symphony and opera every once in a while. I'll play a concert every now and then, but not too often anymore.

The most influential person in my life has been

Intelligence and common sense

The first thing people notice about me

I have no idea - I'll ask them and get back with you

The last book I read and enjoyed

I last read "The Pelican Brief" but my favorite book of all time was "Les Miserables." Nothing compares to Victor Hugo.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I got to travel the world making a living doing what I loved doing. When that ended, I got a second chance with another career. It's different - but I love it.
  2. I live in San Francisco, California! If you grew up in a small midwestern town, you'd be thankful for SF too.
  3. Breakfast - my favorite meal of the day

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Articulate, Hard Working, Intelligent

A little more about me

I'm a former professional musician that later went back to dental school. I've been fortunate to have had many great and unique experiences in my life - no regrets.
