The one thing I am passionate about...
i like creating and the act of creation, sculpting, writing, painting, storytelling. I am an avid D&D player, mostly for the chance to create a vivid fantasy world. I enjoy good conversation, and I have a strong interest in the paranormal, although I'm not entirely sure if I believe in it all. I love cuddling and close intimacy. I'm not afraid to express my feelings or beliefs, and I love having someone tell me about theirs. I find the differences in people to be fascinating. I love movies and went to school to be a hollywood special effects artist, although I had to drop out due to lack of funds. I absolutly love children and animals.
I typically spend my leisure time
Pen and paper role playing, sculpting, and reading. When i have a partner I definately love cuddling. I love writing and hope to become a succeful children's writer someday. I absolutely love travelling and seeing new things and experiencing new.....experiences?
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty and communication are vital. Without trust or openess conflict resolution becomes exponentially more difficult. I also want someone that enjoys simple intimacy, such as cuddling or holding hands in public.
The first thing people notice about me
I'm VERY empathic, I tend to tune into the feelings of those I am close to.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Although it's outside my usual favorite genre (fantasy) I really enjoyed True Beleiver by Dan Cook. It's about a reporter from New York City that goes to a small southern town to investigate ghost sightings in the local cemetary. In the course of only a few days he meets and falls in love with a local girl. I really liked the characterization and the progression of their relationship. Dan Cook is an excellent author and knows how to create vivd and realistic personas, and has an excellent grasp on relationships. He is also the author of The Notebook, which I saw the movie version of and loved. That's right, I like some chick flicks, so what?
The three things which I am most thankful for
- every new and exciting opportunity life throws at me
- my friends and family, who are always there for me and trust me enough to come to me when they need help
- for all the beauty and joy this life has to offer, from the sun reflecting off the clouds on an autumn day, to the daily opportunity for renewal and change
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
My sensitivity is not a weakness. I have alot of strength hidden inside me, I just don't see the need to flaunt it.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Loyal, Modest, Romantic
A little more about me
I'm not looking for any one night stands, booty calls or anything like that. The loss of my wife is still very fresh with me. She made me promis to move on as fast as I could on her death bed, but all I want at this time is to make a good friend, and hopefully have something deeper and more meaningful develop later. I don't believe good relationships can develop without being close friends first. I don't believe in, nor do I want a casual sexual relationship. I want us toi get to know eachother and become friends.
