More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm most passionate about about #1- loving God's children (church & volunteering). #2 - March madness (love college hoops) and #3 - trying to take over the world (c'mon - you know the reference, don't you)?

I typically spend my leisure time

Leisure WHAT? Life is meant to be loved and enjoyed. So, in my leisure time (outside work) I'm a choir-singing, church activity going, volunteering (women's shelter), scrapbooking, kickboxing, reading woman, who's a proud Godmother of a 3 year old. I rejuvinate with a good entertainment (b'ball game); good friends and good food and drinks. My acceptable alternative? Time spent nurtuing new friendships (or relationships) and having some fun along the way.

The most influential person in my life has been

Can you laugh, pray and roll with the punches with a great friend (and partner) by your side? I'm looking for a man who wants to handle life with flexibility, a great sense of humor and Christian leadership.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm a great listener and I have a "smooth" voice (I've been told). I'm a very easy person to talk to. Many people say that they feel like they've known me forever.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows. It was a great end to a well-constructed story. I also enjoyed Too Blessed to Be Stressed and I read the Chronicle of Higher Education.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My relationship with God.
  2. My family and friends.
  3. One more day. Since it's not a given, I'm always thankful!

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm a realistic and logical person. That might make me apppear a bit stand-offish; which contradicts what's inside once you get to know me. Once I warm up, I have a great sense of humor and love a good conversation.

Friends Describe me as
