More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Given that my interests wax and wane between photography, cars, woodworking, the outdoors, and home improvement, I'd say that my passion is in the discovery and satisfaction of meeting new challenges.

I typically spend my leisure time

I can usually be found outdoors either working on home improvement projects or out running through the park with my puppy (a dachshund so there's more puppy there than dog). He gives me an excuse to stay in shape and provides a great stress relief to the work week. I'm a Mini Cooper owner so most weekends I enjoy working on the car and taking it out, with camera in hand, for scenic drives in search of fresh air, new places, and less city.

The most influential person in my life has been

A caring and thoughtful soul will carry you through the lows and make sharing even the simplest tasks moments you'll want to remember.

The first thing people notice about me

People notice that I'm reserved and quiet, at first.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Well let's see.. it was back in junior high.... just kidding. I'm not much of a book worm for books. I flip through for diagrams, schematics, and picture captions. Reading is reserved for quiet moments of reflection while I decide what to with those leftover screws.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family and Friends providing a solid ground, sounding board for life's quandaries, and compass for what is truly important.
  2. Opportunity in life to chose where I live, how I work, play, and relax; many live with a lot less.
  3. I'm thankful that my puppy chose to chew the lower back corner of my first ever new leather sofa to show me that life still goes on, for man and for dog.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Easy-Going, Hard Working

A little more about me

Seriously, it's taken a long time and a lot of hard work to get here. Hopefully this is one of the last blue boxes I'll have to pretend I'm talking to. Work is serious. Family is serious. Taking time to laugh at the moments in life is what it's all about.
