More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My passionate interests would probably be music, sports of all types (particularly basketball), physical activity, great conversation, reading, writing.

I typically spend my leisure time

Two or three things I most enjoy doing with my leisure time:1. hanging with friends and/or family2. involve myself in some form of physical activity or sports3. reading and keeping up with events around the world

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important quality would probably be the ability to communicate and be open about everything. Communication is key to having a successful relationship. If you can't be completely open and talk to your partner the relationship's chances are not high. Another quality I think is very important in a member of the opposite sex is trust. Also, the role of faith in an individual's life.

The first thing people notice about me

The first thing, other than appearances, most people notice about me is my ability to make people laugh and how much of a sense of humor I have. Most also notice that I get along with anyone and I'm very laid back.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read and actually enjoyed is Manhunt, which chronicles the hunt for President Lincoln's killer John Wilkes Booth. We all learned back in elementary and middle school that John Wilkes Booth assassinated Lincoln, but this work really brings to light the chase for Booth and how government agencies came together for the first time to hunt and find a criminal. Call me a dork, but it was very well written and kept me on my toes, always had me wondering what happened next. It read more like a suspense novel, but was historical.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. God ... without Him I would be lost and would not have a moral footing or hope for the future.
  2. Family ... thankful for my family. Thankful for having been raised the way I was raised as a Christian. Though I'm not the perfect Christian, I am glad I was born into a family that found religion very important in life.
  3. Friends .... My friends are who (besides my family) keep me grounded. They are also the source of a lot of great memories and times I have had over the years. Without friends, people are miserable. And I'm definitely not miserable. I'm easy-going and love nothing better than a great time. I also tend to try and make everyone laugh to keep their spirits up. I'm also a great friend people can come to with whatever problem or stressful moment in their lives. I'm a great listener and give great advice.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Funny, Good listener, Intelligent

A little more about me

I'm a really nice guy who in the past has had that taken advantage of. I'm just looking for someone who is equally nice and easy-going.
