More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am a lover for all things creative. However, I love french cinema, independent cinema (both watching and participating in), musicals, jazz, and love going to Galleries and art museums. I am always looking for new and interesting music- whether it be french 50's pop, jazz, rock, electronic/dance music or indie bands I've seen live. I love new things. I love to see what the world has to say next.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to handpaint fabric, t-shirts, etc. I love to paint and express myself through a vast array of different media. And I also love looking for new music and watching movies, going to galleries, going out dancing, reading about textile design and independent leisurely research.

The most influential person in my life has been

Wittiness. The ability to make me laugh.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm always making jokes and initiating banter over observations- they also notice that I'm constantly aware of my surroundings.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I mostly read non-fiction. Malcolm Gladwell is a favorite of mine. "Blink" was the last book of his that I read- which is about the sociological and psychological consequences of first impression.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My parents and family- they have made sacrifices to make sure I've had everything I've needed to be successful, and I could never thank them enough. I am so lucky to have had people around me who believed in my talent and did whatever they could to give me the best opportunities to make my dreams happen. Now it's up to ME- and I am so excited.
  2. All the negative things in my life that have led to my own self discovery. My only regrets regard those who became casualties on my way to deep meaningful self reflection- but I thank them for their understanding and am thankful to be here to day happy, healthy, and more motivated than ever.
  3. Anybody who's ever believed in my talent and nourished it- and for the human spirit.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm shyer than I appear.
