More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

First my relationship with Christ, my friends and family, and helping others reach their potential. I am passionate about missions, particularly those in Guatemala and hope to be back there sometime this year. I love photography and am looking for a new camera...Nikon or Canon? Nikon's been my favorite 35mm, my digital is Canon.

I typically spend my leisure time

Spending quality time with my friends and family. I am currently taking a few classes as well as teaching one. I love learning in general. I love the outdoors and swimming...when it is warm. Photography is something I would like to spend more time doing...maybe after these classes. Planning a mission trip to Guatemala later in the year.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for someone who will become a trustworthy friend and companion. A confidant, to share all that life has to offer. I'm interested in meaningful conversation about your day and mine, and what's going on in the world. A man who loves life, travel and adventure, and who knows how to relax as well, will turn my heart to his.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm a happy person. No complaints. Life in these United States is very good!

The last book I read and enjoyed

Simple Church and Winning on Purpose. Both books are about planting churches and church leadership and are very good resources. My church planted a small church almost 4 years ago. I am part of the church plant going from 60 members to 200 and serve on the leadership board. I love to read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Christ as my savior.
  2. My daughter.
  3. My health.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My love of seeing others reach their potential. I'm loyal and giving to a fault. The real deal.

Friends Describe me as

Generous, Intelligent, Optimistic, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I have a love/hate relationship with email...it's like writing all this...you really can't tell what the words actually mean without the hearing and seeing part of communication. Reading my words back look really borrrrrring! Is it boring? I am warm, engaging, and loyal. Ask me about my career...I'm now retired.
