More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love to spend time with my friends. Whether its shopping on a Saturday afternoon, or meeting for drinks and dinner, I enjoy catching up when we can. Traveling is another one of my passions. Ive enjoyed every destination Ive ever been to, and I cant wait to add more stamps to my passport. I have always loved sportsplaying, watching, coachingit doesnt matter. Ive also taken up running recently. Im not winning any races, but I still enjoy the challenge of running a 10 mile race.

I typically spend my leisure time

When Im not working with kids, either teaching or coaching, I enjoy jogging around the Mall in DC or biking on the trail that runs along the Potomac River. In the winter I try to get in some downhill skiing when Im in Michigan with my family. (Not exactly the best downhill skiing, but the recreation of childhood memories makes it all worthwhile.) Im usually on the go, but I have no problem relaxing with a glass of wine and a good movie.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone who can be my best friend. Someone I can connect with emotionally, spiritually, socially, intellectually, and physically.

The first thing people notice about me

I genuinely care about those around me.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently read Touch the Top of the World about a blind man's journey to become a mountain climber. It was very inspiring and reminded me to be thankful for all that I take for granted.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I'm thankful for my loving, trustworthy family.
  2. My friends have stood by me through the best and the worst of times.
  3. I'm thankful my faith in God, and His promise of everlasting life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My quick wit and sarcastic humor.

Friends Describe me as
