More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

God/faith, photography and arts, traveling, friendships, writing

I typically spend my leisure time

I really enjoy spending time with friends but spend a lot of my relaxing time watching movies and tv. I also love taking photographs and doing anything associated with the arts. I spend a lot of time writing about, thinking about faith and God but, for me, that is often associated with my work time as ministry is work for me as well as leisure.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important to me is finding someone who knows Christ and lives according to that knowledge. The rest SHOULD come into order when you have that right though it doesn't always. And what I know is that God knows me so well that if someone knows Him then He'll guide them in being the best match for me--with all the things like sense of humor and compassion and strength and honor and genuineness and so on being a byproduct of who God has made them.

The first thing people notice about me

That's a tough one but I would say that people make note of my voice.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Sweet Potatoe Queens' First Big-A$$ Novel by Jill Conner. It was about friendship and getting in touch with what's unique and great about us all, and finding power in that to live life to the fullest. I liked that it was about finding your own place of power and feeling like you're the best you can be. It was also really quite funny and allowed me to have a mindless moment in between all the deep, theologial, "important" reading that I have to do for work and school.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. That I am Christian and saved by grace. (God's favorite daughter.)
  2. That I have a wonderful support network of friends and family.
  3. I get to do things I love, help others, AND get paid for it. ...I feel very fulfilled.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

In situations where I've had to be "tough" or deliver news to someone that they did not like, I wish that they would immediately connect with the fact that my heart is to do the best for them that I possibly can do.

Friends Describe me as
