More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about learning, growing and developing. I am passionate about giving more than I get in life. And I am passionate about exploring possibilities.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy learning about and experiencing new "things" (activities, cultures, ideas) and getting to know the person/people who introduce me to the experience. I love to travel - I have been to Asia, Europe, Russia, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and lots of places in US. I also do volunteer work. I don't have a lot of leisure time because my business activities keep me busy, but I'm at a point where I want to spend more time "smelling the roses".

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty; the willingness to work thru difficult situations to find a solution that works for both of us; caring; chemistry.

The first thing people notice about me

Great question, I don't know! But it probably varies depending on the situation.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I am starting "Post-American World" by Zakaria.I read two books recently: "Siddhartha", a classic about a man's journey in a different land and time to spiritual evolution; and "Think Big" by the amazing pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson, whose story from poverty to world renowned doctor is a story all its own. Both of these books challenge you to know yourself. Also "The Ascent of Money - a financial history of the world", which provides insights into the rise and fall of money and of Western power. We are living at an inflection point in time and this book ties history and opinion together to prov

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. That my son (only child) is a caring, self-sufficient, happy, intelligent adult.
  2. That I have been given wonderful opportunities that have allowed me to grow and give back.
  3. That I enjoy life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Nothing -I am comfortable with people "noticing" as the interaction evolves.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Genuine, Hard Working, Physically Fit
