More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about living a happy and responsilbe life: I make every effort to go to bed each night knowing I did the best I could for myself and those around me. I love to laugh and "embrace the fun" in all possible situations!

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy movies, theatre, dining out, concerts, taking walks (especially when I can get ice cream along the way), sporting events, antique stores, reading, art, and will generally try anything once (provided bodily harm is unlikely!). Love a summer night at Ravinia. Go Cubs, Bears, and Hawks! I spend time at the gym 3-4 days a week. I'm also striving to be a better cook and to entertain at home more often.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important quality I am looking for in a partner is genuineness. I am looking for someone who can be themselves with me, and I with them. When the right two people meet, I think things should fall into place fairly easily?.Values will be similar, senses of humor will be compatible, life goals and outlooks will naturally be in sync. That can only happen successfully if both people present themselves just as they are. Kindness, decency, chivalry, and a wicked sense of humor wouldn?t hurt either!

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished Lamb, by Christopher Moore. The book is a fictional account of the years of the life of Jesus that are not mentioned in the Bible. It was humorous while still being reverent. It made me laugh out loud.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My wonderful family
  2. My incredible friends
  3. Each new day, filled with exciting possibilities

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I?m all over the board with my likes & interests?.Sometimes I like classical music, sometimes alternative rock; sometimes I like to be out living it up, sometimes I?d rather be in enjoying a quiet night at home; sometimes I walk, sometimes I run. Sometimes beer, other times champagne. I take true pleasure in living life and am really looking forward to meeting the right someone to share the future with. And I'm great with kids, even though I don't have any of my own!
