More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about music. I love songs that tell stories, especially those to which I can relate. I also love my TV Shows (24, American Idol, House, Criminal Minds, LOST, etc)...I really need a DVR! I am a huge football fan. Favorite team is Arizona Cardinals (have been since I was a kid, not just cuz they went to the Super Bowl recently).

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy listening to music, watching TV, going to the gym, playing video games, and singing. You will find me doing one of those things most times when I have down time, although I find myself singing at the same time I'm doing many of the other things, including those not listed here. Singing is so much fun and so good for the soul.

The most influential person in my life has been

Trust and communication. I view them as going hand-in-hand. They act as a check-and-balance to one another. If one fails, the other is there to pick it up. When trust fails, communication is there to help. When communication fails, trust is there to help. When both fail, the relationship is sure to fail as well.

The first thing people notice about me

Sense of humor. I have a "knack" for making people laugh.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Leadership Gold" by John C. Maxwell. It opened my eyes even more on ways I can become a leader at work, as well as with friends and family. Actually one of my favorite parts in the book is where he relates the different facets of one's life to a juggling act. That's a normal analogy, but he also threw in a twist. He said that some things are like bouncy balls. If you drop them in the juggling act, they will simply bounce on the ground and you can pick it back up when you'd like. Others he compared to glass balls. Those, when dropped, will crack or even shatter. It has made me question what are the bouncy and glass balls in my life.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family.
  2. Ability to make people laugh.
  3. My closest friends that are there for me no matter what.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My ability to hold an intellectual, serious conversation. When I have the choice of being serious or joke around, I will almost always choose to joke around. It's just my nature to put a smile on someone's face. However, some people don't believe they can have a serious conversation with me because of it.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Funny, Outgoing, Passionate

A little more about me

I have life goals that I want to acheive. Some are family related. Some are career related. I would like to be with someone that wants me to acheive my goals and dreams in both areas.
