More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Lately, food and music. With food, I just love learning about wild menu items around the world, and new crazy flavor combos. For music, I like thinking that this music that is in the world is inspiring people to do things, it relaxes people, and brings them happiness.

I typically spend my leisure time

I'm always making up fun plans with my friends such as concerts, parties, going out to eat, movies, etc. I am a huge foodie and I love to cook. I do admit spending a lot of time both reading and watching tv. I also love keeping in touch with family on the phone and via skype. i would love to play tennis more often, and try to go to various area sports games when i can.

The most influential person in my life has been

I love when a guy wears their heart on their sleeve.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm very friendly. I always try to make everyone feel comfortable.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I loved reading The Hunger Games trilogy. Who didn't? It was recommended to me by my friend after I read Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood, which I thought was super dark and heavy. They are both dystopian, but The Hunger Games was much lighter and more exciting.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family. Obvious answer, but it's true. I am so lucky to have such a loving and supportive one.
  2. Having grown up in Louisiana. I had no idea it wasn't just our state that loved our local food, our music and how we love turning everything into a party.
  3. My health. I rarely get sick. It's weird.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm not a music snob. People think that because of my job I will judge their taste in music. I think it took me many years to realize this, but we are all so different, music is so subjective, and anyone who tries to belittle me or anyone else for their taste in music is a fool. While I may love certain bands, other people might hate them. That doesn't make me better than them, it's just what I like.
