More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about the people in my life and about the relationships I have with them. I love music and reading. I also love my job but I'm not sure I would describe myself as passionate about it. I love my dog! Definitely passionate about him.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love spending time with friends and family - doesn't matter what we do. I spend a lot of my time listening to music and reading. I'm also quickly becoming a gym addict. :)

The most influential person in my life has been

It's not so much of a particular quality I'm looking for as it is a connection. :) There are very few people I don't like or get along with but it's that something more I'm looking for. Honesty and a sense of humor are great places to start though!

The first thing people notice about me

People usually notice my smile first and that's usually what they tell me so I'm not really sure what else they notice. :) I guess the thing I get told most often is that I seem like I have a gentle nature; that I'm shy but easy to talk to.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read and enjoyed was The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I think Brown's stories are easy to get into. I like the combination of history and fiction. These types of stories are a nice change from the thick articles I usually read for work.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family - I am truly blessed. My family is the BEST.
  2. My friends - Again, truly blessed. My friends are unbelievable!
  3. Music - It's my escape for whatever reason, whenever I need it.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

The one thing that surprises me the most is that people are always amazed when I tell them what I do. I'm a research lab manager which means I'm a psychologist/academic/scientist in the making. I love what I do but for some reason people are surprised to find that out.
