More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am just a passionate person! As such, it is easy for me to be passionate about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness! I have always seen myself as having the ability to change the world around me in a positive way, and I approach this self image with my heart and soul. I am passionate about my friends and family, great adventures, and living life to the fullest! Additionally, I feel passionate about the environment. There is little better than a hike through the wilderness, a trail run, a mountain bike ride down a crazy trail, or an alpine or nordic skiing session!

I typically spend my leisure time

This one is hard. Usually I would say hanging out with my friends and family, but I am fairly new to town and most of my friends and fam are in Wyoming. When I do get the chance to be around my friends and family, I enjoy cooking and/or socializing. Second, I enjoy hitting the mountains in just about any capacity. Unfortunately, school keeps me exceedingly busy and inside, but if I had it my way I would be outside all the time. I also enjoy sitting in front of a fire, day dreaming, playing my mandolin, or reading a good book.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone that I can be best friends with and is always up for a new adventure.

The first thing people notice about me

My sense of humor. I also hope that they notice that I am a genuinely good guy, but that might be a better question for them.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Edward Abbey's "Hayduke Lives!" It is the sequel to "The Monkey Wrench Gang," and is about a group of people that are probably too passionate about the environment. I just love Abbey's perspective and style.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends and family
  2. Always going to sleep with a full stomach and a warm heart
  3. Being able to chase my dreams

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Hard Working, Optimistic, Passionate

A little more about me

While I would love to find a partner, I also got on this site to make some new friends. If you aren't interested, but would just like to go for a hike or have someone to grab a cup of coffee with, hit me up!
