More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about helping others. I am currently working with refugee children from Ethiopia. I want to get more involved in my community and with different organizations where I can make a difference with my hands on time. I love learning about other cultures and yearn to do humanitarian work. I have applied for Teach For America and hope the news is positive come March. I love working with children because they are so honest and sincere, and still have humor and questions to bring to the table. I love friends, education, experimenting, having a good time, and my family. I look forward to having a strong community in the future.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to spend time with friends, but also enjoy time alone. I love to dine out and explore fine cuisine and wine. I like to take road trips and find new places. I also like to take a day and relax with a cozy blanket, my crossword and a few cocktails. I want to get out and see the symphony, and more live concerts. In the spring and summer I enjoy walks to look at the glorious gardens that inspire me. I enjoy time out with friends over drinks, conversation, and much shared laughter. I like to meet knew people and get connected.
