The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about Jesus Christ: He is the rock that I lean on. Without Christ I would not be the person that I am today. Additionally, I am very passionate about my family and close friends. These relationships are very valuable to me. I love keeping busy with things I enjoy like hiking, being outside on a sunny day or watching college football (go Trojans!)... I also put a lot of energy in my volunteer activities at my church - I love the ministries I'm involved in and give a lot to those activities each week.
I typically spend my leisure time
Leisure time is often hard to find. When I have it, I enjoy doing things to relax such as reading, writing or going for a walk. I also enjoy watching a movie or baking something special "just because" and not because I need to.
The most influential person in my life has been
The most important quality I'm looking for is definitely commitment to Christ and a deep and meaningful personal relationship with Jesus. Additionally, I want someone who can enjoy a sunny day outside with me - hiking, swimming, rafting... just playing in the sun! Someone who can listen to me when I'm having a hard time, make me laugh when I need it, hold me when I'm crying, and love me through thick and thin.
The first thing people notice about me
Hmm... is a smile part of apperance? Cause I think people first notice that I smile a lot! Then, as they get to know me, that I am very open and optimistic.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Wow, this is hard! I think The Last Jihad (and the 4 books following in the series) by Joel Rosenburg. It was very interesting, as well as attention-grabbing. Rosenburg uses Biblical prophecy to write a fiction story on what could be coming. Some of the details have already come to pass since he began writing in 2001. Reading this series caused me to look deeper into Biblical prophecy and examine my personal life in a different light.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- First and foremost, I am thankful for the love, grace, and mercy of my Lord Jesus Christ.
- Second, I am thankful for the unconditional love my family expresses toward me - rare and priceless!
- I am also very thankful for my church family - I have been supported through thick and thin!
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I think I often come across as being stronger than I feel. Outwardly, I am a very confident and assured person. But I know my weaknesses all too well.

A little more about me
There are hundreds of thousands of things! But let's leave it to say that I dream of going on mission trips to Belize, Uganda, and anywhere in Europe (probably Germany). Oh, and I just returned to college full-time... it has been a big adjustment but a great adventure. Also, I am only on here for the free communication weekend...
