The one thing I am passionate about...
all art, politics, nature, literature, jazz, rock, classical music, philanthropy, contemporary thought, conversations, love, museums, color, friends, family, traveling with a loved one, being generous, being dependable to my community.
I typically spend my leisure time
jazz singing with great musicians, walking with my dog, cooking, going to performances or art shows, bubble bath, being with friends, studying music, organizing myself, cooking, movies, volunteer work, sitting around doing nothing with someone I love, reading a good book, traveling.
The most influential person in my life has been
honesty, straight forward, open minded and loving.I am always working to loose weight and hope he can be accepting in that respect. I have learned to cook organized and healthy meals and love doing it. I want him to appreciate my cooking!
The first thing people notice about me
People know right away that I am extremely creative. I would like people to notice that I listen to them with respect . I have strong opinions but I listen first. That is not to intimate that I say what I think one wants me to.....I am a very strong woman but I hang back at times.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Art in America Magazine, the exhibition catalogue for an exhibition in Los Angeles I attended on the French sculptor Louise Bourgeois. and I love mysteries and well written literature to read when I am traveling. mysteries and novels, sheet music books
The three things which I am most thankful for
- my children
- my success as an artist
- my friendships
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I am an extremely supportive person even though I seem to be a leader. I only want to be a leader in my work not in my personal life.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Generous, Intelligent, Warm
