More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Wow, loaded question ;) I love to travel and explore new places, I love to drive and take random spontaneous roadtrips. I love the outdoors and nature. I'm a huge Yankees fan and a die hard Steelers fan, I know it's a weird combo. I love my job and I love helping other people and serving the public. I love dogs and most animals. I'd like to think I'm passionate about good health although I know I don't always set the best example but I do try hard. And lastly I'd like to think I have passion for trying to make the world a little better, sorry hope that doesn't come off too cheesy :)

I typically spend my leisure time

Driving and traveling to new places would be on the top of my list when I'm in the mood to be out and about. Finding a great restaurant along the way is always nice too. With my down time at home I love to read and do crosswords or catch up on all the Law and Order episodes on my DVR.

The most influential person in my life has been

Passion and dedication. Being happy, content and independent but not so independent that they're inflexible in adapting to a relationship, does that make sense?

The first thing people notice about me

My strange sense of humor, either you get me or you don't!

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Mole People by Jennifer Toth, it's a heartbreaking memoir/biography of life for NYC's underground homeless population. It makes you stop and think about what we all take for granted and it really inspired me to try to do a little more for those less fortunate. On a ligher note, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman was a great fantasy novel, he's one of my favorite authors.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and their good health.
  2. My small group of very close friends.
  3. The passion and dedication I have for a very fulfilling career.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I (and all of us really) are a lot deeper than we first appear and could never be summed up in little text boxes on a website.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Dependable, Intelligent, Spontaneous
