More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My work and furthering my education in fine art and graphic design. I enjoy a good book and love to debate movies and politics. I am always trying to improve my understanding of the world. I keep a small but loyal circle of friends, and their state of satisfaction with their lives, as well as my family, is important to me. I am driven, but not self centered. My relationships and my area of study are the most important things to me.

I typically spend my leisure time

I am an artist and designer, so completing my creative projects mean a great deal to me. I also enjoy daring, thought-provoking movies and television. I knit in my spare time. And I try to set aside time each week to unwind with a good book or a drink. A thoughtful conversation is priceless to me.

The most influential person in my life has been

A good conversationalist, definitely. Somebody who stays informed, has a curious mind, knows what they want, and isn't afraid to debate about a movie we've just watched, for example.

The first thing people notice about me

Sometimes I'm quiet at first, so usually the first thing they notice IS my appearance. I'm told my eyes are memorable. I think people notice that I am well-spoken, and that I am quick to crack a joke about the situation.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read 'Twilight' as a lark and utterly hated it. Hated it. A good book I read recently was 'How to Think Like a Great Graphic Designer', which is a book of interviews with current designers. Great to see how creative minds work.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My creative outlets.
  2. Feeling that I have done a good job.
  3. The health and prosperity of my friends and family.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am more capable than I often get credit for. As a short person with a youthful face, (I'm told I look younger than I am), people often don't assume much about my mind or my capabilities at first, until they have a real conversation with me.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Creative, Intelligent, Loyal

A little more about me

I require shoulder and back rubs. I love this. But don't worry; I make it a rule to reciprocate in a relationship. Also, I'm not looking for a fling. I would like to settle into a reliable, long term relationship.
