The one thing I am passionate about...
A few months after I was born, I was diagnosed with an eye disease called strabismus. At ages three, five, and eight, I had corrective eye surgeries. Thanks to the efforts of my physician and the grace of God, my current eyesight is excellent. My doctor's influence on my life showed me how significant a physician could be in the life of a patient. His words of encouragement and his attitude helped me to overcome both physical and mental challenges. Because of my experiences, my greatest desire for my life, my greatest dream, is to become a doctor. I want to help other people overcome similar challenges and share God's grace with others.
I typically spend my leisure time
When I am not studying for school or the MCAT, or running around doing errands for all of my campus organizations, I enjoy reading, playing basketball, drawing, swimming, watching movies, and singing. I also enjoy working with children. Every summer I volunteer at my church and help direct the music for Vacation Bible School.
The most influential person in my life has been
I want to find a godly man who walks with the Lord. I would like him to be intelligent and compassionate.
The first thing people notice about me
People notice that I am outgoing, talkative, and friendly. I am a student recruiter and tour guide at my school. I also like to volunteer with children and youth activities in my community and church.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The last book I read was called, "A Promise to Believe In" by Tracie Peterson. It is a Christian, historical fiction novel that depicts the life of three sisters living on a ranch in Montana and describes how they cope with the struggles of everyday life while keeping their faith in a drastically-changing frontier. Most of the time, I enjoy either science or historical fiction. I also enjoy reading non-fiction books about missionaries.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My Relationship with Jesus Christ
- My Family and Friends
- My Freedoms in America
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I am very studious and sometimes feel that people may see me as a "nerd." I am really dedicated to my studies, but there is so much more to me than school.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Hard Working, Intelligent, Spiritual
A little more about me
I like to have fun, and I am always good for a laugh, but I feel like no one has ever given me a chance to start a serious relationship. God has blessed me with many talents, and I would like to find someone who I can share them with.
