More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about life and others seeing Jesus through the life I live. I'm a very caring person and want God to use me daily to encourage others for His glory.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy sports and help my 19 year old son coach a 7-8 year old baseball team. I enjoy being outdoors when it's warm, just enjoying the sun. I enjoy just hanging out around our pool..

The most influential person in my life has been

That she is a Christian and just simply likes me for who I am..

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm in a wheelchair..

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Shack.. I just enjoyed how it brought to life God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit...

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Most thankful for Jesus dying on the cross for my sins..
  2. Most thankful God spared my life in a 1989 car wreck..
  3. Most thankful for two great kids..

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That even though I'm in a wheelchair, that doesn't define the man I am..

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

On October 26th, 1989 I'd face a tragedy. While driving home from work that morning, I'd fall asleep driving. I would have a one car wreck, but this wreck would change my life forever. The wreck would break my neck and injure my spinal cord, thus, paralyzing me. Can you possibly imagine what I was thinking? I left home one day walking, fully able-bodied and 3 months later I would come home from the hospital in a wheelchair. I was 24 years old when this happened.. I'm now 44 and very blessed. I know people with disabilities scare some people away. However, we are just like you. I just "walk" a little differently..:)
