More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

This all comes in somewhat of a choppy and random order; however, I love working with kids and helping them reach their full potential. I love being out in the great outdoors and most activities one can do outside. Whether being active or simply sitting and enjoying the day, I am content in God's amazing nature. I often enjoy sports, and like to pass time by watching or playing them. I love animals, and I would say above all I am most passionate about serving and living for God.

I typically spend my leisure time

I am currently on the back stretch of graduate school, so my leisure time is sometimes scarce at the moment; yet, I always make time to spend quality time with my friends and family. I enjoy a good movie, sporting events, and different types of exercise. On my down time I enjoy reading; especially on cold days--nothing like a good book, a cup of hot coffee, and being wrapped up in a blanket.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for a guy who is spiritually minded, who has a good sense of humor, and who is willing to put family first. A guy who is easy-going, and has a sense of adventure is always a plus.

The first thing people notice about me

I am easy to talk to. The clich´┐Ż saying "Never met a stranger" applies to me more times than not.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I have been reading a ton of counseling\\therapy books for grad. school, but I wouldn't consider that "joy reading." Don't laugh because this is a bit embarrassing, but I read the Twilight books last. I am looking forward to reading "The Shack" next--I've heard great things about it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am most thankful for the relationship I have with my Lord and Savior.
  2. I have wonderful and supportive family and friends who have helped me become the person I am.
  3. I am grateful I have a job I enjoy and look forward to going to most days.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

This is somewhat of a weird question..I'll get back to you on that...
