More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Learning & growing for moving forward in life; making great memories; doing my very best at whatever hand is dealt to me; helping others feel happy; inspiring kids; experiencing God's love & grace; playing softball; being outdoors; and learning about people.

I typically spend my leisure time

Co-rec softball; camping; card and board games with friends & family; lots of self-reflection; sporting events; reading non-fiction about social sciences/anthropology and my faith; being wowed by reality talent shows on TV where average people can do things I can't; and staying fit however I can.

The most influential person in my life has been

That he share my ideals of acceptance and respect in relationships.

The first thing people notice about me

I make conversations interesting.

The last book I read and enjoyed

We will relate very well together if you like the book Classic Christianity by Bob George or The Road Less Traveled by Dr. Scott Peck. These two books ultimately sum up my mode of operation in life. :)

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My senses
  2. Anything that makes me laugh
  3. Choices

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

My faith is my life's anchor and is the foundation for everything I think or do. But I do not wish to attend church. (I grew up immersed in church & Christian school all the way into my 30s, so I did not come to this decision lightly.) So if being involved with church is important to you, I'm not the girl for you. I do believe, however, that church is important in the raising of children; so, if I have any, I will attend with my children.
