More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am a soprano and sing choral masterworks (eg Beethoven's 9th). I have a passion for this and work with a voice coach. I have also started travel writing on the side and enjoy that a lot! I like to read about traveling as well as psychology, archeology, spirituality .I work out with a trainer, plus go to Yoga class with the girls. I have a secret desire to learn to play poker like a pro and I enjoy going to the beach.

I typically spend my leisure time

Road trips in my new car, social events, performing arts (music, movies, plays), reading, fun times with friends, gourmet cooking and weekly brunch with the girls

The most influential person in my life has been

Dynamic, self-aware, self actualizing, kind, successful, values family and friends, has depth and integrity

The first thing people notice about me

Calm, self-assured, warm and poised

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Artists Way - a course in self reflection designed to inspire writers, artists, performing artists to expand their creative talents and horizons; My Losing Season by Pat Conroy. This is a fabulous memoir, even if you aren't a basketball fan. Also just read South Of Broad by Pat Conroy, then read Beach Music, and then Prince of Tides. Have been on a Conroy roll. Loved his books so much I took a road trip to Charleston.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family, plus the legacy of being from a family of very dynamic, talented, achievement-focused, successful people that includes entrepreneurs, corporate executives, performing artists and academicians. They are all very inspiring.
  2. My talents as a writer and singer and the great opportunities I have had in my professional career.
  3. I have a great life with wonderful friends and interesting activities and avocations and great work and adverture and travel and fun, plus relaxing down time. I feel very lucky.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

personal integrity

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Good listener, Intelligent, Kind

A little more about me

Integrity and character are very important to me. I'm hoping to meet a stand-up guy who has the personal strength to do the right thing, and is kind and loving with his family.
