More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm definitely serious about my faith. I don't know what I'd do without music, at least listening to it. I'm getting more serious about playing it again.I love to get into the great outdoors ... camping, hiking, biking, etc... I've had a lot of great experiences, and I'm always looking for the next adventure. As far as sports go, I've been involved in them ... playing, coaching and spectator since an early age. I miss coaching, but the sports for the most part is a thing of the past.

I typically spend my leisure time

Although I find it hard to make leisure a priority, I like to work out and play my guitar. Reading is also something I like to do, but I find it hard to read just for pleasure. I usually do so for information or out of necessity.

The most influential person in my life has been

a Christian woman first and foremost, and with that, these probably all pretty much fall in line ... truthfulness, honesty, integrity, trust-worthiness ... without these, nothing else matters.

The first thing people notice about me

I probably come off as quiet, reserved and conservative. That's probably because I am to start off. I'm very REAL ... nothing fake. I like being up front with most things right from the start.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Facedown by Matt Redman. It was sort of required reading, but very good stuff.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am thankful for my health, education and continued employment that I have been able and continue to provide for my family.
  2. That I am a follower and believer in God and Jesus Christ.
  3. My kids are following a promising path towards being successful (so far, I'm keeping my fingers crossed).

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can be a solid friend if they invest a little time in getting to know me.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Physically Fit, Respectful, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I'd like to be the "glass is half full guy" (the optimist). I've been mistaken for being a "glass is half-empty" guy (the pessimist), but I see myself as a realist. I see things the way they are, and I generally call it like I see it.

I am
Centrist/Middle of the Road

Sports I enjoy playing

Cycling, Hiking

Sports I enjoy watching

Baseball, Football, Hockey, Tennis

Music I like to listen to

the rolling stones, stevie ray vaughn, little feat, metallica, tim mcgraw
