More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate many things. Here are some of them, in no particular order:I'm passionate about:- my morning coffee (some say addicted, I prefer passionate)- doing my job correctly and to the best of my abilities.- enjoying the great outdoors and traveling to world. Neither of which I do nearly as often as I want to due to that pesky job thing.- making the best out of a situation. That doesn't mean I won't complain or vent about it only that I'll try to make that proverbial lemonade.- my family. I try to get together with them on a semi-regular basis.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy working on my house I just bought, cooking, and being outside. I also do the usual reading, movies, eating out, etc.

The most influential person in my life has been

Open mindedness to adventure and new experiences.

The first thing people notice about me

That I have a big heart and do my best to help people.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read (actually listened to while driving up to Northern CA) was "the Future of Freedom" by Fareed Zakaria. It discussed liberty and democracy and how they relate to democracy. Very interesting book. Most people equate democracy to freedom which isn't always the case. More often than it's liberty that equates to freedom and not democracy.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. How my life has turned out so far.
  2. Getting my degree
  3. My father supporting my decision to join the Marines even though he didn't agree with it.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I don't know

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Funny, Optimistic, Thoughtful

A little more about me

Lets see, additional stuff.... Born in Boston, grew up in New Hampshire. Lived in Europe for a year in the late 90's. My degree is in Computer Engineering, yes I'm a computer geek, but not a stereotypical one (How many computer geeks spend 8 years in the Marines?). I love to cook. I'm all about holding hands or walking about with our arms wrapped around each other and giving curl your toes kind of kisses at random moments. I live about an hour from LA and know I will be the one driving to LA rather than making you drive out to see me (if we get that far).
