More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Reading, family, politics, travel, animals, my clients...the list goes on and on.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy reading and films. I like spending time with my family. I like getting together with friends. I also like time on my own.

The most influential person in my life has been

Kindness. I always look for a good, big heart. I love someone who can see the best in people and empathize with others. I like that they're able to refrain from judging others. Life's a whole lot better when the people you're with see the world through eyes that are filled with kindness.

The first thing people notice about me

Probably that I'm a little quirky and will stop everything to get to the humor of the situation.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm terrible about remembering book titles and authors but I recently read "Age of Innocence" by Edith Wharton and loved it. Now I'm going through all the books she's written for a second time. I read a lot, lot, lot.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Living in Northern Cal
  2. Appreciating simple things like a great glass of wine
  3. Having a sense of humor

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm a little bit of an introvert.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Generous, Kind, Perceptive

A little more about me

I watch cartoons, love penny candy (I guess it's $1 candy now), and am pretty handy. I just put together a bicycle that I ordered and was surprised to find it arrived in pieces. Who knew..bicycles don't get shipped to you so you can ride them out of the box. I don't know what I was thinking but after my initial surprise at finding a box full of bicycle pieces with an instruction manual written in Greek, I went out and bought some Allen wrenches (I had the screw drivers and adjustable wrenches already) and put it together.
