The one thing I am passionate about...
I am very ardent about life in general. I just started back to school so I can finish my master's program in criminology. My eventual goal is a doctorate in forensic psychology. Education is not only important to me, but I thrive on the challenge, too. I have an interest in anthropology, which is why travel is important to me. I take pride in knowing a little about everything. I am very spirutual, but not religious; I don't pigeonhole my life into brainwashed structures. I participate in animal welfare.
I typically spend my leisure time
Expect the unexpected in my world! I enjoy motor sports and I participate often; neo-cubism art, wine auctions; baseball, football, pink champagne, Scooby Doo and Marilyn Manson are just a few of the things that make me giggle. Also, I am a foodie! One of the luxuries of working out is that I have the ability to savor life and eat what I want! Oh, I love horror flix! House of 1,000 Corpses is my favorite!
The most influential person in my life has been
The ability to move forward in a committed relationship is an important feature I seek in a man: a person who can take responsibility for their actions. I long for a silly person that who can have a grown-up relationship. Someone who cut the apron strings and lives their own life rather than a lifestyle forced upon them.
The first thing people notice about me
I exude a little girl aura and an "Energizer Bunny" attitude!! I am a rocker girl! I will sing to just about anything (R&B, pop, trance, etc) but Slipknot, Mudvayne, Marilyn Manson, and Mushroomhead are my musical core. I still love to party and I go to trendy clubs as often as I can travel: Hollywood, Vegas, and Miami. I balance between being a homebody and a social butterfly.
The last book I read and enjoyed
True crime stories and forensic science is what I generally read. I just bought The Egyptian Book of the Dead: The Book of Going Forth by Day by Raymond Faulkner. I studied Egyptology for 2 years and I wish to begin where I left off. Im planning a long trip to Greece, Egypt and Turkey in 2010.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- A balance of both logic and whimsy. I am determined and I know myself.
- I know what I want as well as what I don't want: I date men roughly 10 - 20 years younger. No children, no one religious and someone taller than 6.0
- My health and my carefree lifestyle! I made good choices and I have no regrets. I value my extended family.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I am annoyed that SOME people judge me because of my love for body art. Looking beyond the nose piercing -- and tattoos -- and into my intellect -- and soul -- would make me a happy girl. I have 8 gracefully placed tattoos, and several piercings. Thankfully, I am adept professionally and my colleagues and peers take me seriously; however, I dont subscribe to conformity. I am thankful to be a free thinker. I use common sense and kindness in my life to validate myself. No entity or person has the right to judge me or authenticate me -- but me *giggle*

A little more about me
I DO NOT DATE MEN WITH CHILDREN OR WHO SOME DAY WANT CHILDREN. The reason I am single at 43 with no children is that I didn't settle and I made calculated choices without social pressures; I don't want baggage, divorces, or any drama in my life. My partner should compliment me, and not complicate me. I am better off alone than with the wrong person. Aren't we all? Meeting someone who has goals, and who is interested in a healthy relationship, is important to me as well as someone who is considerate, and understands what teamwork is in a relationship.
