More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Most passionate about living life: I love to write, read, practice yoga, hike, be in nature, camp, surf, be at the beach, go to concerts, and just enjoy. I am also passionate about making decisions for the greater good--trying to take steps, any steps, to make the world a better place whether it be picking up trash or donating money to a cause.

I typically spend my leisure time

In my leisure time, I practice yoga, take my dog on long walks on the beach, learn how to surf, ride my bike, go to concerts, and enjoy being outside. This appears to be the same answer as what I'm most passionate about--it's nice that they tie in together so well. (-:

The most influential person in my life has been

This feels impossible to answer because because it appears that I only get one answer, so I'll try: I hope to meet a man who is open, fully able to love, and has the willingness to grow and evolve. Okay, that's not one. Oops.

The first thing people notice about me

From what I understand, people notice my charisma.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished the novel, "Atticus," by Ron Hansen. I read the book because he was my writing teacher for a week, so I needed to read his work. It was about a father and son relationship--the father travels to Mexico to retrieve his son after learning that he committed suicide. It's not my normal reading material but I totally enjoyed it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I'm most thankful for my family (including my dog) and all the lessons and love they have each taught me.
  2. I'm most thankful for the beauty of nature and how it fulfills me.
  3. I'm most thankful for all the love and friendship I have experienced in my life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I have no idea, and I would like to come up with something witty here, but that requires more coffee than I've had this morning, so maybe I will get back to this later. In the meantime, I'll ponder.

A little more about me

I try to do something everyday that scares meit doesn't have to be huge, like skydiving but it has to make me nervous in some capacity. It's good for the soul.
