More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am super passionate about education, especially right now with my graduation just four months away!! But when I'm not staying up late working on some behavioral project or enjoying some Plato and a yummy latte, I love just taking in the world around me. Always enjoy trying new foods and checking out museums, galleries, comedy clubs, all that good stuff. I especially love the downtown vibe, so quaint and seemingly so distant from the crazy high-tech fast-paced rat race of the city.

I typically spend my leisure time

I feel great after a good go at the elliptical or finishing my last set of nightly crunches and would love to have someone around who also enjoys a good work-out. That always serves as good motivation. But, of course, a fit body deserves yummy food! (Right?) So, I like to have fun when I cook, keeping it healthy but always creative. I also enjoy going out to new restaurants. And, not gonna lie, a good glass of wine (or maybe a margarita depending on my mood...) never hurts!

The most influential person in my life has been

Suppose I can only know once I've found it. ;)

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm (probably too) independent. I have such a hard time accepting help of any form from anyone.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Currently reading Robert Wright's 'The Moral Animal.' Offers somewhat of a new take on evolutionary psychology and human sexual relationships in particular. Well-written and pretty entertaining actually although at times a little too matter-of-fact. haha. I'm such a dork. But, yeah, matter-of-fact jargon always turns me into a skeptic...

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My small but always supportive family.
  2. My education. Not just school smarts but all that I've been so fortunate to learn from those around me and from life in general.
  3. Little moments of bliss hidden in the hustle and bustle of school and work and life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I eat! Probably more than you! I just manage to stay active enough to not make it so obvious. :)

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Genuine, Hard Working, Loyal

A little more about me

So this is going to seem pretty lame but I am actually not subscribed right now so I can't respond to any communication questions! Was subscribed once upon a time but cancelled. Trying to be more frugal. ;) Hmm...also trying to figure out how I can be contacted since the site won't allow email.
