More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Working hard to improve myself, either at the gym, learning a musical instrument, or expanding my knowledge. I also love to read history, it's fascinating to read about people in the past and how alike we are, despite the centuries and millenia between us.

I typically spend my leisure time

Recently, exercising. I've taken up Street Hockey with some work friends, and in the next few weeks, I'm gonna be taking Bikram Yoga and Krav Maga classes. In the evenings I'm busy re-teaching myself to play the piano.

The most influential person in my life has been

I won't be able to mention just one thing, because people are too complex for a simple answer like that. I like someone who's tomboyish, down-to-earth, with a good sensible head on their shoulders. I also value people who are creative, be it in art, music, dance, sculpture, etc. I find there's an inherent greatness that can't help but shine through people who are creative.

The first thing people notice about me

First off, my height, I'm a vertically-gifted person :) After that, my eyes, smile, and a beard that makes me look like a distinguished sea captain...or so I've heard, could also be a scraggly mess, depending on your opinion!

The last book I read and enjoyed

I took a little break, and read a humor book called "Everything isGoing to Kill Everybody: Shocking Ways the World wants you Dead!" It was a totally tongue-in-cheek description of tons of different potential disasters. Sounds grim, but the writing is hilarious. Otherwise, I've got a whole stack of books I'm only partially through. Some fantasy novels, a few textbooks, a few classics.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Loving and caring family.
  2. Great friends who care about me.
  3. A good head on my shoulders.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can be very reserved at first, but once you get to know me, I'm an utter goofball.

Friends Describe me as
