More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Being in the medical field i am passionate about medicine. Medicine is always evolving and changing which makes it interesting. I currently work in nephrology and dialysis and love learning new interesting facts daily at the hospital and on my dialysis rounds. I am passionate about traveling I have only been to Costa Rica, DR/Haiti, Mexico, France, Belgium, Canada outside the US and I would like to travel more and be exposed to different people, cultures, languages, food, history etc.. I am also passionate about food I like trying new foods and i like making new dishes when I have the time.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy exploring NY, trying new restaurants and events, and socializing with people but I also enjoy staying home and watching movies or reading a good book.

The most influential person in my life has been

Kindness is the most important quality that i look for in another person. You need to be able to know that your partners is a caring and good person to yourself as well as to others.

The first thing people notice about me

are my expressive green eyes.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book i read was Lincoln's Melancholy How Depression Challenged a President and Fueled his Greatness. It was about Lincolns life and how Lincoln's character and intelligence seemed greater because of his depression. I liked reading about Lincolns personal life because from what i knew of Abraham Lincoln he seemed like a great president and this book also showed that although he was great he was still human and it emphasized is personal struggles and how it made him a better person.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Thankful to be born in America. My parents were not born here and could only imagine how different my upbringing would be had i not been born in America.
  2. Thankful to have people that are kind, loyal and love me.
  3. Thankful that I was fortunate enough to have a good education.
