More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about being good to all people and creatures...and as an extension of that, i have been a vegetarian for 20 years (I think the doctor part covers me being good to all people :)). I am also a blossoming yogi which gives an amazing sense of calm in this often crazy city and I of course love the yoga philosophy of non-harm. Cooking and baking are also passions of mine (one of my all time favorite recipes is my great grandmother's brownies...absolutely to die for!)

I typically spend my leisure time

In my free time, I love taking yoga classes (because it's good for both your physical and emotional health), enjoy cooking (and eating of course), and love to explore different parts of the city, especially central park and union square. There is so much more to say...but hopefully this will pique your interest :)

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for my soul mate, a man who is spiritual, kind, caring, honest, compassionate, passionate, generous in heart and spirit, adventurous.....

The first thing people notice about me

The first thing people notice is my contagious laugh/smile and my high energy.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read is by a philosopher named Osho called "Courage...The Joy of Living Dangerously". It is about knowing your true self and living life to its fullest. I am currently reading "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. He was the Carnegie Mellon professor who died of pancreatic cancer and the book is about making your dreams come true...incredibly inspirational.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am thankful for the continuous lessons I learn as a result of previous relationships and daily life experiences.
  2. I am thankful for my good health, my loving family and friends and the incredible joy I experience daily as a result.
  3. I am thankful to have the introspection to know who I am and to constantly be searching for better understanding of what is important to me.
