More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about the relationships in my life, including family and friends. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures and want to do more in the coming year. I also enjoy cooking, reading, movies and staying active (running, hot yoga, weights, spin class, etc).

I typically spend my leisure time

In Chicago, I spend my free time with friends and family, experiencing the city and trying new restaurants. I enjoy exercising, cooking, reading, going to movies, etc. I love traveling and am looking forward to escaping the Chicago winter sometime soon!

The most influential person in my life has been

I think it's hard to boil it down to just one quality, but I am looking for a genuine person - someone who has a big heart, good sense of humor, intelligence, drive (but also makes time for family and friends). Overall, I'm looking for someone who I can have fun with and share life experiences.

The first thing people notice about me

I would say my smile, as I am often smiling!

The last book I read and enjoyed

My favorite book is The Glass Castle. It's an incredible memoir detailing the author's dysfunctional childhood.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I'm most thankful for my family. We are very close, and as cliche as it sounds, they have always been there for me, no matter what, and they've been incredibly supportive of me. I am also very lucky to be the aunt of a nephew and two nieces. They are a ton of fun! I love seeing them grow up and being involved in their lives! They are total characters and definitely keep things interesting!
  2. I'm also very thankful for my health. It's something we often take for granted until something goes wrong or a loved one faces a health challenge, unfortunately. Overall well-being is very important to me, from eating well to staying active, and I'm thankful that my family, friends and myself have good health.
  3. I'm thankful for the many opportunities I've had in life, from college to travel to career moves. Every experience has made me who I am!
