The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm passionate about people and living a life I can be proud of. I strive to be self aware, exercise compassion and constantly evolve into a better person. It makes my day when I can make someone smile or laugh and create positive experiences!
I typically spend my leisure time
I enjoy going new places, learning new things and engaging in stimulating conversation. Since moving to Greenville, I've learned to appreciate great microbrews and local wines. Kayaking, biking, exploring. I love reading! Spent last summer in Europe, mostly business but had some fun too. I enjoy doing almost any activity as long as I'm around people I love!
The most influential person in my life has been
It's important for anyone I date to be genuine, responsible, passionate, independent, and respectful. When I decide to be with a woman, including her flaws (because everyone has them), my love is unconditional. I am looking for a mate who can accept me (and my flaws) in return. My ideal woman knows how to be classy, and is a genuinely loving person. I'd like to meet a woman who loves God and knows what it means to have a personal relationship.
The first thing people notice about me
People have told me they immediately notice my somewhat sarcastic and witty sense of humor. I try to make life fun, and enjoy when someone picks up on the occasional clever or nerdy jokes I routinely weave into a conversation. People who catch them are automatically my favorite.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I read a lot if randomness on Wikipedia and subscribe to a few iPad magazine apps, but last read an actual paper book entitled "The Men Who Loved Trains", which held my interest for several reasons. It tells the true story of how corporate America works. The book follows executives from several railroads as they make important financial and economic decisions about the future of their companies. It provides a picture of how many important decisions are often swayed by the most minor considerations. Loved it!
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
- My wonderful family and friends.
- My life, and the journey that made me the person I am today.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
People often do not immediately notice my level of dedication until I get to know them pretty well. Often, after getting to know me, people are surprised to learn how faithful I was in past relationships, and how reliable and consistent I have been at meeting goals.
Friends Describe me as
Dependable, Easy-Going, Funny, Intelligent
A little more about me
It's important to have an emotional chemistry. I can promise this: Any woman who is with me will be in for an adventure! I love when someone is passionate about something, and has dreams. I need someone who loves God, and will grow with me instead of holding me back. Also, I am looking not only for a lover, but someone who I can truthfully call my best friend. I was married before, and don't plan to make the same mistakes again. If I meet someone on here, hopefully we can come up with a good lie about where we met. Finally, I'd like to meet someone within 2 hours of Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC
