More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am spiritual, but not fanatical. I love diff types of music, singing, crafts, spending time w/ my little family. I want to get back into racquetball, biking, and volleyball, but I'd rather spend more time traveling, volunteering and having qualify time with friends.

I typically spend my leisure time

Leisure time? Hmmm - going out with/hosting/entertaining good friends, singing/karaoke, etc and quick weekend trips - the beach, quaint locales like Mt Dora, festivals, theme parks and the like.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone who is a Good man, someone who appreciates the value of not taking things for granted. I highly value someone with a good sense of humor, not hurtful or sarcastic, and someone even tempered who doesn't need to have drama all around, but knows when something needs to be worked out, and is comfortable doing so. Honesty and loyal are also a must.. :)

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm generally easygoing and mild mannered. Then they get to know me, and I them, and they find out what really counts..

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Taken by Dean Koontz. It was about a storm which leads to vividly terrible things happening to the citizens of earth - If you're familiar with Dean Koontz, you know that he's known for interjecting Christian beliefs into his work.. Can't tell you the end - it would spoil it.. But it's VERY thought provoking...

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The friendships and close relationships I have developed and cherish.
  2. My background, beliefs and experiences - good and bad for preparing me for what's ahead.
  3. Basic things I have - home, food, good job as well as the non-tangibles - hobbies, etc. All these I remember not to take for granted.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I don't always smile because I'm always thinking. I wish, magically, that people could see the inner comfort that I feel - my hope would be that it would ease others..

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Caring, Creative, Easy-Going

A little more about me

In the last five years, I've dated only two people - Both turned out incompatible eventually, but each said that first, my profile didn't do me justice, and second that I was a hidden gem who acts younger than her chronological age. Hopefully both are compliments. :0p I'm open to what God has in store for me next, but first things first. How about just a simple hello?
