More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am a very driven man, one who possesses a seemingly insatiable appetite for asking questions on subjects that others may be too afraid to ask. A voracious reader and writer, I strive for continual growth in myriad aspects of my life--especially spiritually. I live for competition--I play to win, whether the game is Monopoly, Scrabble or Trivial Pursuit. Writing poetry gives me an incredible high. Cultural awareness and diversity is important to me, as I desire to learn more about the people, cultures and society around me. There's so much more to me. If you want to learn and know more, feel free to ask the questions!

I typically spend my leisure time

In my time of leisure, I most enjoy reading, dining at finer restaurants and engaging in thought-provoking, informative and witty dialogue with friends and family members.

The most influential person in my life has been

In a word, honesty. Without honesty, I don't believe a legitimate relationship in any form can survive and flourish.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile. I have been told many times that I possess a very engaging and dazzling smile. I would agree with those assessments!

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Pagan Christianity" by Frank Viola & George Barna. As a man of the Christian faith, I have long wondered from where many of the traditions and rituals found in the "institutional church" came. The book was a historical analysis of many practices that many Christians incorrectly believe are rooted in scripture, but are actually based on pagan principles. I liked that the book answered many of the questions I have had for many years, but I could never find or get an sufficient explanation.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am thankful for the inner-peace I posses, as well as the ability to give and love freely.
  2. I am thankful for my good mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health.
  3. I am thankful for being able to see positive attributes in those around me, no matter their past or present-day situations.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That just because I have a physical disability of Cerebral Palsy, there is nothing wrong with my mind. In other words, just because I walk with the assistance of crutches, don't assume that I am emotional or intellectual cripple. If anything, I am more knowledgeable and observant than most will ever know.
