More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

People. And I am passionate about stories and information, whether it comes in the form of films or prose. I am passionate about art, the human experience and learning about others. I love the outdoors (although sometimes I need reminders to go outside) and being in calm, serene environments. I love good conversations that change the way I think. I like games and sports that allow me to be a bit competitive, but it's always in good fun.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love good conversations with friends over some great food. I love going to movies or curling up with a good book. I like exercising and being outdoors.

The most influential person in my life has been

Integrity, in a word. That pretty much sums it all up. A good sense of humor, warmth, a strong curiosity and a sense of play would all be icing on the cake, too. And I do like icing. But none of that really matters without some integrity, no?

The first thing people notice about me

My slightly impish quality.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm about to finish "All the Devils Are Here," a great summary of the financial crisis in 2008. It's written by Bethany McLean, who wrote "Enron: the Smartest Guys in the Room," which I loved...both the book and the doc. Business is definitely not my forte, but she approaches it from a human perspective -- what characteristics of a person drove him or her to make decisions -- that is so riveting that I can't put her books down.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family and friends.
  2. My health and well-being.
  3. I am thankful that I have a good job and the freedom to be creative and do things that I love.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm incredibly loyal and would do anything to help my friends and family.
