The one thing I am passionate about...
I would generally say I am passionate about these things in order. Family, friends, work, and then sports. I share a lot of passion for each one, and of course it depends on where I am at in my life on which passion is on fire at a given time. But without a doubt Friends/Family hold a special place and I would like to think that I would do damn near anything to keep it that way. On a lesser note, I do enjoy movies a lot and can tend to be guilty of a quote or two in a conversation. I am also up for anything once and enjoy a certain amount of adventure in my life to keep things spicy :)
I typically spend my leisure time
I like to work out 3-5 times per week after work. I sometimes struggle to get there, but after I work out I know I feel way better than when I walked into that gym (thats the goal, right?). I also enjoy playing and more likely watching sports. As much as I think I am athletic, recreational sport clubs is as far as I go when it comes to playing, but I generally have a great time! I also have spent sometime in bowling leagues (hold the judge for now). Also movies and TV shows take some of my time. I enjoy shows such as Madmen,Game of Thrones, and New Girl. I really enjoy a good escape inside a television or movie theatre from time to time.
The most influential person in my life has been
Genuine. That means to me more than just honest and real. Although those are very important qualities, being genuine in feeling emotion and striving to fully understand yourself is essential to live a happy and productive life in my eyes. I find myself attracted to be people who understand their strengths/weaknesses, and understand that the key to a good relationship/friendship is to accept both aspects of the person, taking good with the bad.
The first thing people notice about me
People generally first mention my smile (which I personally think is more than just appearance.) But if it is fact deemed part of my appearance, I think the first thing people tend to notice is my love for life/fun. I like to have fun and try to make people laugh/smile in a variety of different ways.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. A truly remarkable story about a former Olympic runner and WW II veteran. The things he survived and conquered in his life was absolutely remarkable.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Having the parents that I had. I am extremely lucky to be able to have the childhood and support I have had throughout the years. I feel I come from a healthly family and that my parents set up my brother, sister, and me for a successful/happy life.
- My opportunity within my profession to be able to help people on a daily basis. There is something about being able to make a person smile in any which way when they had been having a tough day that creates a very nice feeling within me.
- I will have to go generic with friends. I would not be the person I am today without their support, challenges, and good times spent that have I had with them. I feel a good friend is hard to come by and I would like to think I cherish mine and I feel very loyal to each one of my good friends.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I would have to believe my ability to be open-minded and being relatable. I have learned many things about this world and am fascinated by the differences in people. I like to hear how other people/cultures go about their daily life and see if it can better the way I live mine.
