More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

At the end of the day I'm a firm believer in life is as fun as you make it. So I?m always on the lookout for new experiences, and finding the adventure in everything. I also love going out and meeting new people. I don't really care what the venue is, but I try to do at least 3-4 different things with friends a week. Someday I want to own a hostel, and just have people there all the time. Travelling is also a big passion of mine. I was a film major in college, and something about seeing and capturing the world and sharing it with others, gives me a real sense of accomplishment.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love being outdoors. Skiing, kayaking, hiking, spelunking, if it's outdoors I'm there. Actually if it?s indoors I?m there. More than just for the activity, I like the thrill I get from doing something challenging and succeeding at it.My guilty pleasure is marathoning seasons of TV sitcoms, 30 Rock, Office, Park and Rec, I?m all over that shit.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is passionate about life. It doesn't matter about what, but as long as you are passionate about something, and care enough about it to give it your all. That kind of energy goes a long way in relationships and in life.

The first thing people notice about me

I've been told I come off as very intense and energetic.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The classic Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. It's a ridiculous satire about a bunch of pilots on a fake army base in WWII who can't stop flying missions because of contradictory "Catch-22" army regulations. The writing style was really what made the book a fun read, with lines like: ?Under Colonel Korn's rule, the only people permitted to ask questions were those who never did?I had just been on active Army duty at the time, and some of the ridiculous rules were actually true.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends!
  2. The experiences, both good and bad, that have made me grow as a person.
  3. Intelligence and a cute smile :)

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I do tend to tease people a lot and call them on their shit, but I promise it's all in good fun, and at the end of the day I care about people and the relationships I'm in. It just takes a little while for me to let people get close.
