More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about people; story-telling; opening a window onto the human condition...I believe we derive insight, catharsis and expanse of mind through art and performance...Also, you gotta help others who have less - volunteering and creating/participating in anything that you feel enhances the community at large.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy trying out new quirky restaurants... I enjoy small live music venues, like cafes, and I like to walk or drive along the ocean... Recently I've been in hibernation mode spending evenings watching french films (I am learning french right now)...

The most influential person in my life has been

I really appreciate someone who is authentic and self-aware and living consciously. I am attracted to people who know and like themselves and the life they've created, and are open to making room for a good relationship....Since I have mostly been around creative people all of my life, I've found I have more in common with folks that have the soul of an artist - whether that's a primary endeavor or just a fire they keep stoked for themselves....

The first thing people notice about me

my short hair...

The last book I read and enjoyed

book update: "Blindsight" (novel - another set in LA - brilliant and subtle), and "The Big Leap" - this one's non-fiction about living in your 'zone of genius' - interesting theories. "Hero of a Thousand Faces" --- famous book about our collective world mythology and how it shapes us...

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Thankful for all of the life and love my parents gave me as a kid
  2. Thankful for the simple beauty of nature all around us
  3. Thankful for the freedom of exploration this life allows - the possibilities are limitless

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

my goofy side

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

from the east coast - after school I lived in NYC for over a decade, but then I had to get outta there! Love the ocean. One of my best friends (whom I've known for 16 years now) and I go running 3X's a week by the beach in the mornings - worth getting up at 5:30am for...
