More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I feel like I am very passionate about life in general. I like learning about new things. I will get a new interest and try to learn as much as I can about it. I try to read a lot for that reason. I also try and always stay healthy, whether it be going to the gym or playing sports. Lastly, I love being with my friends and family and enjoying experiences with them.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like going to the gym and playing sports. I try to keep a healthy lifestyle, but I also enjoy going out for food and drinks with friends a lot. When I'm home, I like watching movies and reading books. I try to read a book a week.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is upbeat and happy. Life is too short to be depressed and I like to surround myself with people who are about enjoying life and having fun.

The first thing people notice about me

I am almost always in a good mood and I think I give off a positive friendly vibe.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson. A scientist wondered about the history of the universe, the earth, etc. He spent five years researching and talking to top experts in the field and wrote this. Some of the questions he asks (and answers) include How does anybody know how much the earth weighs? How can they know when the universe started and what it was like when they did? How big is it now? This stuff absolutely fascinates me. Very informative and a great read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family is the best, especially my parents. They have been there for me every step of the way and I am so thankful for that.
  2. My friends are always there for me when I need them. I am very lucky to have such great people in my life. They are always a lot of fun, but are there for me in rough times as well.
  3. I am thankful for all the opportunities I have had. I have been lucky enough to get a great education and land a fantastic job. I feel very fortunate.
