The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm passionate about health and fitness, energy psychology, art and sculpture. In reality, if it sounds like it would be fun to do or learn, I'll include that, too. (What is energy psychology? I practice Emotional Freedom Technique, AKA "tapping", which uses acupressure points to quickly remove emotional baggage.)
I typically spend my leisure time
I like to make things and really enjoy getting into the "flow" with clay. I am skilled at portrait sculpture and abstract vessels. If I only have a short block of time, I read, walk, exercise and cook healthy and delicious meals for myself and friends. Love the luscious offerings at Wegman's.
The most influential person in my life has been
I am looking for someone who is as kind, considerate, affectionate and caring as I am. Emotional awareness is important. I will be thrilled to find someone who knows how to play and have fun. No fear. Just love.
The first thing people notice about me
My friends say that I glow, and I notice that strangers are always smiling at me.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Just read Getting Into the Vortex by Abraham Hicks. It's the best operaing manual for being a successful human being that I have found. I also read art books and magazines and non-fiction books. I like to learn. Just noticed Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav on my shelf and am re-reading it because it is intensely insightful regarding emotional awareness, authentic power and human evolution.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- my excellent health and level of fitness
- my supportive family and friends
- my ability to learn and grow, my sense of humor, curiosity and enthusiasm
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
It's not on my radar whether people notice me or not, but I am a complex person and the skills and knowledge I have usually go unrecognized. I help people when they ask, but just listening is always a big help.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Happy, Optimistic, Perceptive
A little more about me
Myers-Briggs test puts me at INFJ; Dr. Oz's RealAge test says I'm 58. The Gallup Organization's Strengths Finder categorizes me as "ideation, relator, learner, responsibility and maximizer". I believe I'm self-confident, a great listener, a sunny optimist, intelligent, affectionate and loving. I'm very healthy (Rx-free), energetic and open. I like to go, see and do, and preferably with a friend.
