The one thing I am passionate about...
What to choose, my parents would say that i am passionate about too many things (which explains 184 undergrad credits).I'm passionate about history. I LOVE the water (I however, DO NOT love the motion sickness).I love animals.Wow, there are so many things that I suddenly find myself at a loss.
I typically spend my leisure time
I know that it is strange, but I like to build ancient siege weapons. I also like to read and have well over 1000 books (none of which is Twilight). Otherwise, I like to spend my time outside, but I live in a city, there isn't much in the way or hiking or camping around here, I would love to go camp, I just never have. I would love to spend more time doing outside sports - but there just isn't an opportunity around here. Then again, I'm perfectly happy staying home and watching a movie or reading a book. - Hey, people are complex, and so am I.
The most influential person in my life has been
I want someone I can count on, I want someone who will be a partner in life. I understand that no all "matches" are perfect, so if a match didn't work out, it is better than not trying at all. But what I'm really looking for a in a man, someone who can make me laugh - doesn't matter if you have a "hard body," or a high paying job, I'm just looking for someone who is kind, and like I said, can make me laugh - but most importantly - kind.
The first thing people notice about me
My eyes. Strangers notice my eyes. THEN, they notice that I a person who cares about whatever it is that I am doing. If I don't at least try my best, I may as well not have tried at all. I'm also the type to notice when someone else has has a hard day - I am know for my back massages.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Mostly I read contracts (because I write them). I have a book collection of well over 1000 books. I've read more than 99% of them. My collection is extensive and ranges from ancient history to new releases (NO TWILIGHT) The last book that I read is called Pirate Latitudes by Michael Chrichton. It was his last book and found among his papers. I love it because it is a very entertaining read, I love the history, I love anything to do with pirates and sea adventures. However, reading the book is also a little sad because I know that it is most likely the last thing that will ever be published in his name.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am thankful for my family.
- I am thankful for my health.
- I am thankful for the healh and well being of those that I care about.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I have an amazing sense of humor. Also, I work in the legal field, so people just assume that I am jaded - but I'm not. I believe that all people are different and that every situation is different. However, due to my profession, like I said, most people think that I'm jaded - when in reality, I'm really not.

A little more about me
I love my family, I'm happy with my life, the only thing that I feel that is missing is someone to share it with. As for the "conflict" portion on this website - I feel that I must say that my job entails conflict resolution. I can't think of much, like many people, I come from a "broken home." I endeavor to NOT let that happen to me. I have learned from my parent's mistakes. Also, I love dogs.
