More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My daughter! She is the love of my life. I'm obsessed with the stock market and world economic news. I watch movies and quote lines from them. I love to sing. I love that feeling I get when I hear the perfect B minor note. I love to travel. For some reason that makes me feel as if I am not wasting my life. I like to imagine what everyday life was like for other people throughout history. I like learning new things and taking on projects. I'm determined to make the most out of this life.

I typically spend my leisure time

I'm usually snuggling with my daughter or my dog while watching a good movie. I usually have projects that I obsess about like creating home movies, writing songs, or writing my book. I'm currently really into my new house. I love decorating it and tweaking it. I am going to learn about landscaping as that is my next big project.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for an honest guy. Someone who is comfortable with themselves, easygoing, and can find enjoyment in even the simple things in life. Someone who can be open, and share their thoughts, to make a genuine deep connection.

The first thing people notice about me

My confidence. People usually comment on my communication skills. I am very friendly and easy to talk to. I am intelligent and articulate and I genuinely like people and I think that shows in my attitude. I also get a lot of comments on my firm hand shake. (The soft ones feel akward.)

The last book I read and enjoyed

Revolutionary Road was an amazingly honest book. The dialogue was real and accurate in portraying human feelings. I think I indentified with April in that I sometimes don't feel "special" or that I have done anything "marvelous" with my life. I want to live life to the fullest and not feel trapped. On the other hand, I also identify with Frank. I can feel completely satisfied in the normal everyday relationships with people I love. Frank said," I want to feel things...really feel them. How's that for an ambition?"

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The unconditional love of my beautiful ten year old daughter
  2. My Mother- never judgmental
  3. That I still have time... for everything

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am a good listener. I listen to what you are saying, but also HOW you are saying it. I like to truly feel as if I am understanding someone. I am a deep thinker. I am highly introspective and want to feel and notice everything. I don't want to get to the end of my life and ask "What happened?"

A little more about me

I am really just looking for someone to spend time with and perhaps share and experience some of my life with. My daughter is the center of my universe and when she is here, I devote my full attention to her. It is the time in between that I am looking to fill with some intelligent conversation while snuggling on the couch and watching a good movie.
