More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I want to continue travelling and experience what the world has to offer. I enjoy trying different things and eating new foods, especially if they take me out of my comfort zone. The world is too big and life too short to perpetually stay within the confines of the familiar.

I typically spend my leisure time

Depending on how much leisure time and how I'm feeling, I'll spend my time differently. I'm currently working on my masters so that takes up a sizable amount of time after work. When school is a non-issue but the the day is still hectic, I like to work out, read, and watch some tv. Some days its good to just relax and lounge around at home, and on other days I like to mix in some spontaneity.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'd like to meet a genuine person who can laugh at herself, see the good in bad times, and while responsible is also kind and adventuresome.

The first thing people notice about me

People notice my friendly and positive attitude. I enjoy talking to others, even strangers, since we all have an interesting story on how we got to where we are.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Lately I've been trying to delve into some philosophy through books from Timothy Keller and the Dalai Lama. However, I end up reading this extremely boring book called "Interpreting Engineering Drawings" for a masters class at the moment. If you have a hard time sleeping at night, pick up this book. It will knock you out cold.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Close friends
  3. Fortunate opportunities and circumstances I've come across

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My amiable nature can cover my serious and silly sides. I'm a friendly guy, but can get very serious especially when it comes to work and at times can also act like a kid in an adult's body.
